Peconic Landing is inviting emerging and established sculptors to submit proposals for an outdoor sculpture exhibition celebrating the community’s 25th Anniversary in 2027.
Selected works will be displayed throughout the community’s 144-acre waterfront campus, expanding Peconic Landing’s existing Sculpture Garden.
Since the Sculpture Garden’s founding in 2010, Peconic Landing has featured more than 60 works by over 30 artists. The collection now includes 13 permanent installations throughout the campus, with the anniversary exhibition adding a new chapter to its legacy.
“For many years, our Sculpture Garden has reflected Peconic Landing’s commitment to the arts and provided an opportunity for members and visitors to experience outstanding work in a beautiful setting,” said Robert J. Syron, President and CEO of Peconic Landing. “We’re excited to welcome new artists whose work will become part of that tradition as we celebrate our 25th anniversary.”
The exhibition will feature docent-led public tours, signage identifying each artwork, and QR codes linking visitors to the artists’ websites and additional information about their work. Accepted artists will also receive two tickets to the exhibition’s Gala Reception in June 2027.
Artists may submit up to three original works at no cost. Proposed sculptures should be designed for long-term outdoor display, be structurally sound, and measure no more than 12 feet in height, with larger-scale works encouraged. Selected works will remain on loan at Peconic Landing for a minimum of two years.
Applications, including a resume or biography, digital images, and an installation plan for each submission, must be received by December 1, 2026. Selected artists will be notified by February 1, 2027, with artwork installation scheduled for April 2027 ahead of the anniversary gala in June.
