Thursday, October 17, 2019 – 6:00 pm – Dr. Michael Doorley Book Talk: Justice Daniel Cohalan, 1865-1946: American Patriot and Irish-American NationalistThis event is being organized by St. Joseph’s College and is funded by the Robert David Lion Gardiner Foundation. Dr. Michael Doorley, who will discuss his latest book (published by Cork University Press in 2019), is an associate lecturer in History and International Relations with the Open University in Ireland, and the author of Irish-American Diaspora Nationalism: The Friends of Irish Freedom, 1916-1935 (2005) and other works on the history of the Irish diaspora in the United States.
