Driver’s License for All Forum at East Hampton Library

January 30 @ 6:00 pm - 7:30 pm

Free

The East Hampton Town Anti-Bias Task Force and the East Hampton Library will present “A Driver’s License for All” Informational Forum on Thursday, Jan. 30, 2019 at the East Hampton Library from 6 to 7:30 p.m.

The forum has been planned as an opportunity for residents to better understand New York State’s new “Driver’s License for All” legislation that was signed into law by Governor Cuomo in June.

The legislation will allow access to driver’s licenses to all, regardless of immigration status and went into effect in December.

Participants in the panel forum will include New York State Assemblyman Fred Thiele Jr., a co-sponsor of the bill, along with OLA Assistant Director Sandra Dunn and OLA Attorney Andrew Strong.

All are welcome to attend this important event. For more information, please call the East Hampton Library at 631.324.0222, Ext. 3.
