Film Screening: "Aldo Leopold and a Land Ethic For Our Time" at Quogue Wildlife Refuge

Aldo Leopold is considered by most to be the father of conservation, recognizing in the 1920’s that man’s connection to nature should be as a partner instead of as an adversary. In honor of National Public Lands Day, please join us for a screening and discussion of this Emmy-award winning documentary film which shares Leopold’s story. Presented by Wes Triani, certified in partnership with the Peconic Land Trust, this film will broaden your view and understanding of the importance of safeguarding our natural environment. Copies of Leopold’s Sand County Almanac, originally published in 2949, will be available for purchase, courtesy of Canio’s Books of Sag Harbor. $5 per person. Space is limited, reservations required.
