International Holocaust Remembrance Day at North Fork Reform Synagogue

January 26 @ 2:00 pm - 3:30 pm

Auschwitz Gate

Werner Reich, a holocaust survivor and volunteer at the Holocaust Memorial and Tolerance Center will speak at this event hosted by the North Fork Reform Synagogue, Cutchogue Presbyterian Church and the Southold Town Anti-Bias Task Force, with the collaboration of the Holocaust Memorial and Tolerance Center.

2020 marks the 75th anniversary of the liberation of Auschwitz, the ending of the Second World War, and the ending of the Holocaust. 2020 also marks the establishment of the United Nations, formed in response to atrocity crimes of the Holocaust and the Second World War, with the aim of building a world that is just and peaceful.

In this milestone year, leaders will reflect on the continued importance of collective action against antisemitism and other forms of bias and prejudice to ensure respect for the dignity and human rights of all people everywhere.

The North Fork Reform Synagogue is located within the Cutchogue Presbyterian Church.
