Mattituck American Legion Flag Placement Ceremony

The Mattituck Lions Club, part of Lions International, is proud to announce their 65th Annual Strawberry Festival, presented by the Peconic Bay Medical Center – Northwell Health. The Mattituck-Laurel Historical Society Annual Christmas Open House on Sunday, November 28, from 2 to 6:30 p.m. at the Ira Tuthill House at the corner of Main Road and Cardinal Drive in Mattituck. Annual Turkey Trot at Mattituck High School, 15125 Main Road, Mattituck, sponsored by Mattituck-Cutchogue Teachers' Association. The Mattituck-Laurel Civic Association hosts a discussion on “What Are You Doing With Your Food Waste” at its monthly meeting on Monday, July 31 from 6:30 to 8 p.m. at Veterans Park in Mattituck, where Mark Haubner of the North Fork Environmental Council and Beth Fiteni of the Long Island Organics Council will discuss the benefits of food scrap composting.
