Good Morning!

• Today will be sunny, with a high near 68 degrees and a northwest wind 13 to 17 miles per hour. It will be partly cloudy overnight, with a low around 49. Saturday will be mostly sunny, with a high near 69, and a northeast wind 6 to 8 miles per hour, becoming southeast in the afternoon. There’s a 70 percent chance of showers Sunday, mainly before noon, but otherwise it will be cloudy, with a high near 73. Labor Day may prove to be the best beach day of the weekend, with sunny skies and a high near 77. 

• The New York State Department of Health informed Suffolk County health officials Thursday that two more mosquito samples collected Aug. 22 in Manorville have tested positive for Eastern Equine Encephalitis virus. This news follows the August 24 report of a EEE- positive mosquito sample collected in Manorville on August 16. More details are online here.
