VSOP Projects is pleased to present the 14th Annual 10X 10=100 Art Show & Sale in Greenport Village, long a mainstay of the holiday season that was formerly held at the South Street Gallery.
Nearly 200 artists have contributed to this ambitious holiday-time exhibition. All works will be available for $100 and proceeds benefit the North Fork Environmental Council and Peconic Public Broadcasting.
The exhibition will be available to preview on Friday, December 6th from 6 to 9 p.m. during the Greenport Village First Fridays Art Walk.
A very special performance by George Cork Maul and The Hidden City Orchestra, which will also be presenting small works of music and spoken word in accordance with the theme, will accompany the preview.
This exhibition is a good opportunity to discover new talent, find affordable gifts for holiday giving, and collect artists whose work is often inaccessible, all while supporting two important local non-profit organizations.
The North Fork Environmental Council is a 37-year old grassroots volunteer organization dedicated to preserving the environment on the North Fork of Long Island. Peconic Public Broadcasting, based in Southampton, is Long Island’s only locally produced NPR station.
The 10×10=100 Art Sale will begin on Saturday, Dec. 7, promptly at 6 p.m.
Due to the popularity of this event in years past, the gallery anticipates a line forming at about 5 p.m.
Collectors will be asked to line up and limit their purchases to 3.
VSOP Projects is located at 311 Front Street in Greenport, and can be reached at 631.603.7736.
