A Healthier NY for ALL: A Forum on the New York Health Act

Are you tired of high monthly premiums, high deductibles, and arguing each bill with your private insurance company? Have you or someone you know had to declare bankruptcy because of health care costs? Do you just want to understand how a public system would work?

Then come & learn about the NY Health Act and how it will impact the quality & cost of your health care. NYS has the chance to lead the nation in creating a single payer health care system. PEER’S Forum includes a moderated panel discussion and the chance to tell your health care story to the state Campaign for NY Health.

The panel, in formation, will include NY Assemblymember Fred Thiele, Prof. Martha Livingston, Chair of the Public Health dept at SUNY Old Westbury, SH Hospital President Robert Chaloner, and others.
