A Taste of Australia Didgeridoo Workshop at Quogue Wildlife Refuge

G’day mate…come and make your own Didgeridoo, Dot Paint it in the traditional Australian Aboriginal style, then learn how to play it. Australian Chris Pitkin will talk to you about Australia’s Aboriginal culture and the Didgeridoo – Yidaki – the world’s oldest wind instrument. He’ll show you how to Dot Paint your Didge the traditional way, and then will teach you how to play. Chris spent years traveling in the Australian Outback, learning about its Aboriginal Dreamtime, and its 60,000 years old, spiritual, land-based culture. This 2 hour workshop starts with a neat PowerPoint, and includes all materials. Payment due at time of reservation. $30.00 per participant/Didge.
