Once hunted, the whale is now under historic efforts of protection. The artists were free to interpret the “whale” theme in any way they choose.
A “Whale of a Show” celebrates the richness of our culture and good fortunes, from a lucrative Whaling Era to an economic re-birth in 1881 with the Fahys Watchcase Factory. Today, unique Sag Harbor is home to seafarers, fishermen, creatives, environmentalists, teachers and families, all sharing a common love for the water.
Show runs May 23 through June 18
Music by Jake Lear
