Book Reading & Signing: “Spirit of the Wind” at Quogue Wildlife Refuge

Long Island teen author Yasmine Hamdi will visiting Quogue Wildlife Refuge share her book, “Spirit of the Wind.” She will be speaking about the book, a middle grade novel, her inspiration in writing it and will do a brief reading. Attendees will then have the opportunity to win a free copy of Spirit of the Wind. Yasmine will be signing books and meeting readers after the program. 16-year-old Yasmine wants to inspire children to look after the planet and show them that they’re never too young to make a difference in the world. Yasmine actively speaks to schools across the U.S and has been highlighted in Inspiring Teens Magazine and Too Pretty Brand’s women strength movement. For wildlife enthusiasts ages 8-13 years old. Books will be for sale at $10 each.
