On May 11, Artistic Director Marya Martin is joined by harpsichordist Kenneth Weiss, violinist Cindy Wu, oboist James Austin Smith, and cellist Nicholas Canellakis in a beautiful program of German Baroque music.
Germany stood at the center of musical thinking during much of the Baroque period. Alongside German masters Handel, Telemann, and Bach, we present gorgeous works by fellow countrymen Dietrich Buxtehude and Johann Fasch, all written during that heady time.
