Conversation with ProPublica’s Paul Steiger at Southampton Arts Center

Southampton Arts Center presents a series of conversations moderated by Barbaralee Diamonstein-Spielvogel, a writer, activist, television interviewer and producer, known for her involvement in the fields of art, design, architecture and public policy. Ms. Diamonstein-Spielvogel will be joined by luminaries in the fields of theater, publishing and architecture.
Mr. Steiger is the executive chairman of ProPublica, a non-profit, non-partisan newsroom for the public interest, having been founding editor-in-chief and CEO. From 1991 to 2007, he served as the managing editor of the Wall Street Journal where members of the newsroom were awarded 16 Pulitzer Prizes. Also, ProPublica reporters received Pulitzer Prizes in 2010 and 2011. From 1999 to 2007, he was a member of the Pulitzer Prize Board, serving as its chairman in his final year.
