EASY MOBILE FOR THE BEGINNER TO MAKE!
The basic materials you will need to create an adorable baby whale ornament will be provided by Upsculpt including marine debris, however you will need to bring your own ingenuity, imagination and what ever you want to *upcycle! Actually there is practically no limit to the kind of material that can be used to make mobiles, as long as its not too heavy. We suggest picking up plastics from the shoreline! It’s the perfect gift for your tree or a hostess gift for a friend!
What is Upsculpting?
Upcycling + Sculpture to create environmentally conscious art that educates and engages the public regarding issues surrounding marine debris. We remove plastic from beaches and bring attention to the problem, while creating beauty from waste.
About the Artist: Cindy Pease Roe’s paintings and sculptures are inspired by her deep, immovable kinship with the sea. In 2010 Cindy began using marine debris to create art and use education to promote ocean conservation. She has garnered the interest of art lovers and environmentalists alike by collecting plastics she finds along the shoreline and transforming it into thought-provoking sculpture.
