Family Tropical Fish Seining Adventure with SoFo

September 10, 2016 @ 9:30 am - 11:00 am

Adventure Leader: Ashley Federici, South Fork Natural History Museum (SoFo) Nature Educator

During the summer, Long Island can feel like a tropical getaway. Not only do people from all over flock to Long Island’s beaches, there are many tropical fish that find their way up here as well. Join Ashley for a hands-on experience as we seine for the juvenile tropical fish that make their way up from the Gulf of Mexico. Be prepared to get wet.

Advance reservations are required for all events. Most programs are free for SoFo members, $7.50 for child non-members and $10 for adult non-members. Material fees may apply, if listed. For more information, reservations, and directions to meeting places, please call: 631.537.9735.
