Gerard Drive Ramble with East Hampton Trails Preservation Society

Something different this way comes: a post-Thanksgiving 3.5 to 5 mile road walk, perhaps mixed in with a walk on the beach, combined with short strolls downside trails on the Cape Gardiner peninsula (Gerard Drive).  Learn a LOT about the history of this area and Accabonac Creek, while enjoying spectacular views across the creek and Gardiner’s Bay.  Meet at gravel parking area, north end of Gerard Drive (Old Fireplace Road).  Distance: 3-1/2 to 4 Miles; moderate pace.  Route is exposed to the wind, so dress accordingly.  Bring snacks & liquids.
