Saturday February 15th
10:00 – 12:00 Birds & Bagels
After breakfast, get a quick tutorial on using eBird to record your sightings, participate in a few introductory birding activities, then head out on the trails with an expert birder. Binoculars will be available to borrow. Children’s activities include a bird feeder craft, a scavenger hunt, and more. All ages welcome!
Sunday February 16th
10:00-12:00 Young Birders Club
Participants will review basic bird identification skills, learn to use binoculars, record data for the GBBC bird survey at the feeder station and out on the trails. We will have binoculars available to borrow. Hot chocolate will be served when we return to the Nature Center. Other bird-related games and activities included.
