In partnership with the Greenport Business Improvement District, Cornell Cooperative Extension Marine Program is holding its Seventh Annual Shellabration, a unique culinary exploration featuring shellfish and beverage pairings at more than 20 of Greenport’s best restaurants — $5 each for small plates and $3 each for pours of local wines.

The event will take place from noon to 4 p.m. on Saturday and Sunday, Dec. 1 and 2, and is limited to 1,000 participants, with wristbands for admission available online for $30 for the whole weekend and $20 for Sunday only, online at shellabration.li.

This year, CCE is kicking off Shellabration weekend with a five course dinner and wine pairing at Green Hill Kitchen on Friday, Nov. 30, with cocktails at 6 p.m. and dinner at 7 p.m., followed by an afterparty with The Jon Divello Band. The event features wine from Verve Wine, oysters from Peeko Oysters and fresh vegetables from KK’s The Farm and Treiber Farms.  Tickets to the kick-off event are $150 per person and can be reserved by calling Green Hill Kitchen at 631.477.4900.
