Every presidential candidate constructs a public persona. From official portraits and campaign ads to selfies and televised debates, these images can influence voters’ decisions on Election Day. This exhibition explores the complex relationship between candidates’ representations in visual media and their carefully created and tightly controlled campaign images.
This exhibition is organized by the International Center of Photography, in collaboration with Southampton Arts Center.
