Yet, within the country, until the fall of the communist regime, Poles were forbidden to talk about it. Enter Bogdan Bia?ek and his campaign of reconciliation.
For Bogdan Bialek, a Catholic Pole, anti-Semitism is a sin. In a story that begins with murder and ends with reconciliation, one man persuades the people of Kielce, Poland, to confront the truth about the darkest moment in their past: the massacre at the site of Europe’s last Jewish pogrom.
