Women in World War II*
Sunday, November 12, 2 p.m.
“We Can Do It!” became the rallying cry for women in WWII. Answering
their country’s call, women rolled up their sleeves and went to work as
riveters, pilots, nurses, scientists and truck drivers. This talk will focus on the “Rosies” and how the women’s work influenced the course of the war, and, conversely, how the war affected the women’s lives.
