Ever wonder about the marine life in our local bays? Join Peconic Land Trust on Thursday, July 9 at 11 am for a wonderful family friendly program as we explore life under the sea at our Widow’s Hole Preserve on 4th Street in Greenport.

Ron Gelardi and his team from the NYS DEC will teach you all about how to use seine nets to collect animals from the bay — which will be released safely back to the waters. Don’t forget your water shoes and sun block . . . and be prepared to get wet! All ages welcome.
