LWV State Senate Candidate Debate

With election day approaching on November 8, the League of Women Voters of the Hamptons is hosting a New York State Senate candidates debate on Tuesday, October 25, 7 p.m. at Bridgehampton’s Hampton Library, 2478 Main Street, between incumbent State Senator Kenneth LaValle (R) and challenger Gregory Fischer (D).
This is a change in location from an earlier schedule.
The debate will consist of the candidates making timed opening and closing statements and answering questions submitted by Sag Harbor Express Editor Kathryn Menu, the League of Women Voters and the audience.
Moderator will be Judi Roth of the Hamptons League.
Debate organizers are the League’s voter services co-chairs Anne Marshall and Carol Mellor.
The program will be taped and aired by East Hampton Town’s LTV, Channel 20, and also made available to Southampton Town’s SEA-TV, Channel 22.
