LWV’s Congressional Debate at Westhampton High School

With election day approaching on November 8, the League of Women Voters of the Hamptons is hosting a U.S. Congressional candidates debate on Thursday, October 13, 7 p.m. in the Westhampton Beach High School auditorium, 49 Lilac Road, between incumbent Lee Zeldin (R) and challenger Anna Throne-Holst (D).
The debate will consist of the candidates making timed opening and closing statements and answering questions posed by Southampton Press Editor Joe Shaw, the League of Women Voters and the audience.
Moderator will be Cathy Peacock of the League.
Debate organizers are the League’s voter services co-chairs Anne Marshall and Carol Mellor.
The program will be taped and aired by Southampton Town’s SEA-TV, Channel 22.
