Mambo Loco at the Parrish Art Museum
July 1, 2016 @ 6:00 pm - 8:00 pm
Free with Museum Admission
Celebrate Independence Day with exuberant live music on the Mildred C. Brinn Terrace. Crowd favorite Mambo Loco blends classic Afro-Cuban and Puerto Rican music with “old school” Latin and Latin jazz. Bill, Wayne, Alfredo, and Larry, lead vocalist and conguero will bring out your inner salsa dancer.
The Golden Pear Café at the Parrish will be offering a buffet dinner for $25 including Jamaican Jerk Chicken, Blackened Mahi-Mahi, Spanish rice, classic green salad, cornbread, and a brownie, as well as Parrish Summer Sangria for $10 and Montauk Driftwood Ale for $5. So before heading to see the fireworks, grab some delicious food to picnic on the Stewart F. Lane and Bonnie Comley Foundation Event Lawn and dance to great music.
Sounds of Summer provides a full season of al fresco music from the Parrish’s covered terrace. Bring a lawn chair for the terrace or blanket for the grass and soak in the lively music.
All Sounds of Summer concerts are free with Museum admission and take place rain or shine.
