Marian Lindberg will discuss her recent memoir “The End of the Rainy Season: Discovering My Family’s Hidden Past in Brazil.” at the Hampton Library in Bridgehampton tonight at 7 p.m.
Marian Lindberg grew up believing the man who raised her father was a brave explorer who’d been murdered in the Amazon. Years after her father’s death, Lindberg set off for the Amazon, determined to discover the truth about this unverified family legend.
What she discovered was not just unexpected, but profoundly troubling and illuminating. Ms. Lindberg is currently Senior Staff Writer for The Nature Conservancy.
