Suffolk County Community College professors, Mike Inglis and Sean Tvelia, will delve deep into the many mysteries of our nearest celestial neighbor. Covering such diverse topics as the origin, exploration, and mythology of the Moon, this lively lunar lecture will present you with up-to-date research results, as well as the most ancient myths and legends. In fact, just about everything you have ever wanted to know about the Moon and its folklore! If skies are clear, bring your family and friends to explore the night sky through a telescope with these Montauk Observatory astronomers.
