Join Tim Morrin, Observation Program Leader/Meteorologist with the National Weather Service (NWS) to learn all about the National Weather Service, which is located at Brookhaven National Lab in Upton, Long Island. This powerpoint presentation will share with us their mission, organization in the Federal government, products and services, as well as how they can help you “weather the storm”. Tim Morrin’s background includes 30 years Federal Service in weather, starting with 4 years active duty in US Navy and 26 years with the NWS. A free program for adults. Reservations required.
