Opening Reception for Robert Schwarz’s “Starbridges” at Amagansett Library

‘STARBRIDGES,’ an exhibition of over twenty sculptures by artist Robert Schwarz is open at the Amagansett Library through November 28^th with a reception on Saturday, November 4^th from 5 to 7pm.

Mr. Schwarz’s constructions are mandalas: balanced designs that represent the search for completeness.  He considers the process of making them a meditation. As Schwarz notes, “They present themselves to me as models of titanic spaceships or artifacts found in the depths of space – the unconscious.”

Noted art historian, lecturer and author Olivier Bernier will introduce Mr. Schwarz at the opening on November 4th and give a talk on his work.
