Paddle Battle on the Peconic River

This series of races beginning in downtown Riverhead includes courses of varying lengths for canoes, kayaks, ocean kayaks and stand up paddleboards, and for paddlers of all ages.
Check-in begins at the end of McDermott Street in the downtown parking lot along the Peconic Riverfront at 7:30 a.m. Races begin at 9 a.m.
Registration is $50 through July 11 and $65 after July 11 and on the day of the event. More information is online here.
This fun filled day of races helps raise money for the not-for-profit organizations The Riverhead Foundation for Marine Research and Preservation & East End Tourism Alliance.
