Peconic Landing End of Summer Music and Fireworks
August 30 @ 8:30 am – 9:00 am
Peconic Landing and the Brecknock Hall Foundation are excited to announce they will host the annual End of Summer Music and Fireworks Celebration, open to the greater community, on Sunday, August 30. A rain date is scheduled for Monday, August 31.
Since its 2012 inception, this free public event has consistently brought in a multi-generational audience of over 1000 members of the greater public. The evening starts with music and dancing on the patio of Brecknock Hall followed by a spectacular fireworks show over the ponds. Attendees are invited to bring folding chairs or blankets to enjoy the show from the surrounding lawn.
“Summer on the North Fork is so special, and we’re grateful for the opportunity to celebrate it with our neighbors,” said Robert J. Syron, President and CEO of Peconic Landing. “Brecknock Hall has long been a gathering place for the community, and we’re proud to continue that tradition by welcoming neighbors, families, and friends for an evening of music, fireworks, and fun.”
The event starts at 6:30 pm with a live performance by Skyline, a high-energy eight-piece band from Code Bleu Music & Entertainment. The performance will include popular hits for all generations to enjoy. Fireworks will take off at sunset, approximately 8:15 pm, launched over Peconic Landing’s community pond.
Fireworks will be supplied and produced by Starfire Corporation.
