“Virtuosos on clarinet and saxophone,” (The New York Times) Washington DC natives and identical twins Peter & Will Anderson both fell in love with jazz music at the age of 9, listening to recordings of Duke Ellington, Charlie Parker, Benny Goodman, Sonny Rollins, and Coleman Hawkins. The Andersons are Juilliard graduates, have played on GRAMMY winning recordings, and are described as “clever, charming…true showmen, with a delightful connection with the audience.” They have led performances at Jazz at Lincoln Center, the Blue Note, toured in twenty-six US states, Japan, South America, and Europe performing “with a passion, unpredictability, and sense of discovery” (All About Jazz).
On July 28th at Guild Hall, they will be joined by phenomenal guitarist Alex Wintz playing American songbook hits, New Orleans jazz songs, and classical adaptations, and their own original compositions.
