Photography Tips for Shooting in Difficult Environments at Quogue Wildlife Refuge

January 7, 2017 @ 1:00 pm - 2:30 pm

$5

Today’s digital cameras can produce excellent images in conditions that were once almost impossible when using film. As a result, many more photographers are venturing out to photograph under a broader range of conditions and environments.

Photographer Kevin Ferris will present a program that provides some tips on how to plan and photograph in some of these environments. This will include tips on night time photography, focusing in the darkness, issues with composition and equipment, choosing locations, preparing the camera for long exposures and cold conditions, issues with lighting (strobes and hand held lights) and playing with fire (e.g., steel wool photography). See his incredible work at ozarkimages.com.

$5.00 program fee per person. The program is limited to 15 registrants.
