Shelter Island 5K Run/Walk

Shuttle bus runs from 8:45 to 12:45 from the North Ferry, Shelter Island

Please join us under the Tent for post race activities! The annual Shelter Island 5k Run/Walk in honor of Breast Cancer Awareness Month will take place Saturday, October 18 at 11 a.m.

The USATF Certified 5k Course will begin at Crescent Beach, rain or shine and all proceeds benefit women on the East End fighting breast and gynecological cancer through East End organizations The North Fork Breast Health Coalition, The Coalition for Women’s Cancers at Southampton Hospital and Lucia’s Angels.

Pre-registration will be $45 for both walkers and runners, kids 12-and-under are $25. Day of registration will cost $50 for both walkers and runners and $30 for kids 12-and-under. The first 400 participants will receive T-shirts and all participants will receive bibs, post-race refreshments, awards and a complimentary BBQ (while supplies last). Tickets will also be available for a 50/50 Raffle and Gift Card Raffle with prizes to East End restaurants and shops including a lunch for 4 at the American Hotel, Round of Golf for 4 at Gardiner’s Bay Country Club, Pilates classes and more. All proceeds raised from the raffle will benefit Lucia’s Angels.
