Southampton 375th Celebration & Rededication of 1640 Monument

This all-day family event includes Shellfish Hatchery programs, a Rotary Clambake and a picnic at North Sea Community Center to acknowledge North Sea’s ancient past, the 1640 landing of English pioneers and the founding of Southampton.
Schedule for the day: 9am-12pm, Family Marine Biology Program; 12pm-2:30pm, Colonial Food & Rotary Clambake; 1pm-3pm, Aquaculture Program; 2pm-3pm, Shellfish Hatchery Open House; 3pm-4pm, Rededication of the monument to 1640; 4pm-5pm, Shinnecock Tribe Historical Reenactment; and 5:30pm-8pm, Picnic at the North Sea Community Center.
