The Civic Association Holds Its First “Official” Election: When the Civic Association held its first meeting in March, 2015, it elected officers for the interim period between then and the June meeting, at which officers would be elected for the 2015-16 year. Since March, Mary Eisenstein has been president, Julie Amper vice president, Valerie Kilbridge treasurer, and John Carter secretary. At the June meeting, the floor will open to members to nominate and vote for any other member for those four positions and the one executive board member position established in MLCA by-laws.
