Sundays at Two Program. 2:00 P.M. Nature’s Remedy: Healing the Mind and Spirit Through the Trails with Aiyana Smith – Meet at the Long Pond Greenbelt Nature Center, 1061 Bridgehampton/Sag Harbor Turnpike.
Join Licensed Clinical Social Worker and ecotherapy practitioner Aiyana Smith for a powerful presentation on the healing power of nature. Aiyana weaves together modern research and Indigenous wisdom to explore how spending time outdoors supports emotional wellness, reduces stress, and restores balance.
This engaging Sundays at Two program will include an overview of the mental health benefits of nature, a grounding practice you can use on any hike, and space for reflection and discussion. Participants will walk away with simple tools to deepen their connection to the land—and themselves—during their weekly hikes and beyond. Meet at the Long Pond Greenbelt Nature Center, 1061 Bridgehampton/Sag Harbor Turnpike.
Aiyana Smith, LCSW, is a proud member of the Shinnecock Indian Nation, a licensed clinical social worker, mother, grandmother, and community healer. She is the founder of Blossom Sustainable Development and Counseling Services, where she blends culturally rooted practices with modern mental health approaches to support healing and wellness across Indigenous communities. She brings over 20 years of experience in trauma recovery and behavioral health to her work.
