The Dwarf Planet Ceres:
A Discussion
Saturday, June 6, 2015
1:00 pm – 3:00 pm

The dwarf planet Ceres is an enigmatic world, the largest object in the asteroid belt between Mars and Jupiter. Mysterious bright spots glimmer on the surface, and telescopes have detected vast amounts of ice — and possibly water. Right now, for the first time in history, Ceres is being explored up close by NASA’s Dawn mission, a robot explorer with a revolutionary new form of propulsion. Join NASA /JPL Solar System Ambassador William Taylor as we explore the latest images and science from Ceres.
