Who Lives Under the Sea?
Widows Hole Preserve, 4th Street, Greenport

10:00 a.m. to 12:00 p.m.

Bring your children to the Peconic Land Trust’s beachside preserve and explore life under the sea!

Educators from the New York State Department of Environmental Conservation will engage children with fun facts about underwater sea creatures living in our local bays and offer a craft activity.

Then, plan to get wet! Use the seine net to collect and examine up close a variety of crabs, mollusks, fish and shrimp. All sea creatures will be released safely back into the sea.

FREE! Attendees must wear water shoes to protect fee. Rain cancels.
