Writers Discuss “On Montauk: A Literary Celebration” at Montauk Library

Join a number of contributors to ON MONTAUK: A LITERARY CELEBRATION will read from their work. The recently published 350 page anthology of essays, stories and poems plus illustrations was edited by Céline Keating and Ed Johann.

Published by Harbor Electronics Publishers, Sag Harbor, NY, it is available in paperback, a full-color edition, and e-book. Contributors include Paul Tough, (New York Times Magazine contributing writer and author of Helping Children Succeed: What Works and Why, and How Children Succeed and a number of other best-sellers); Nanci LaGarenne, (author of Cheap Fish and Refuge); and Krystal Jarrett, (author of Love on the Docks).

They will be joined by Maggie Bloomfield, Dave Davis, Susan Dingle, Sima Freierman, Janis Hewitt, Stephanie Krusa, Patti Leber, Anna Lipin, Audrey Morgan, and Patria Pacis. Of special note: Kyle Paseka, Rusty Drumm’s widow, will read from her late husband’s work.

The event at the Montauk Library will be hosted by short-story writer and novelist Céline Keating who co-edited the anthology. The prize-winning author of two novels, Layla and Play for Me, Ms. Keating is also a music journalist and classical guitarist. Light refreshments will be offered. This event is free and open to the public.
