DrawDown East End, the Unitarian Universalist Congregation of the South Fork, and Progressive East End Reformers are organizing a local action to coordinate with the Global Climate Strike Week Sept. 20 through 27.

On Tuesday, Sept. 24 at 5 p.m., the group will meet at Agawam Park in Southampton Village, where East End students will give their vision of the future we must work toward.

The rally will acknowledge local efforts by the town and call for setting a higher bar in future actions to create the transformation needed by focusing on the scientific climate research of Drawdown.

All participants will be invited to become climate activists and walk-our-talk with individual action.

Youth are encouraged to attend and speak.
