The East End Opry presents the anticipated return of featured performer Mick Hargreaves
At the end of 2014, Mick’s Lantern Sound Recording Rig (LSRR) took up residence in a sprawling 1920’s farmhouse in the pine barrens of Long Island NY, where he now lives, records, rehearses, and holds house concerts. This capped a busy year that saw the release of several efforts recorded at the LSRR, including Bryan Gallo’s “Party Guest”, produced by Pete Mancini, and the Butchers Blind “Thursday Girl”, the follow-up to their 2013 “Destination Blues” CD (which featured guests Brandi Hart & Buddy Woodward of the Dixie Bee-Liners, and Russ Seeger & Chris James of the Last Hombres). Other artists recently in at the LSRR include Ludlow Ejacula, Dalton Portella, Rorie Kelly, Marianne Megna, Rob Europe, Julia King, Oldsquaw, Marigrace Dineen, WhaleHeart, the 40 Foot Saints, and Skip English’s bizarre “Mambo No. 9” project, a mash-up of The Beatles and Lou Bega.

Also featured this week will be:
Deer France
As a member of John Cale’s band from the late 70’s to early 80’s Deer was part of the revered NYC Art-Rock scene. Deer’s music is electric, and riveting, rocking but melodic. Very few performers are this present with their music, as Deer is during her performances. Deep, Engaging, Exciting, Entertaining, and Different, are descriptions that come to mind when Deer is performing. Often, Paul Chapin accompanies Deer on bass guitar.
Bob Wallen
Bob has been a longtime member lead guitarist of The Bedfreys along side Fred Raimondo. A veteran of blues R&B and reggae bands, Bob will perform a selection of original songs. To find out more about Bob visit:
