Riverhead Supervisor Embarks on a Listening Tour

Riverhead Town Supervisor Laura Jens-Smith announced Feb. 1 that she is embarking on a listening tour of the town this month, in recognition that residents are not always able to attend town board meetings, or make it to town hall.

Ms. Jens-Smith will be holding three town hall style events in locations throughout Riverhead.

Residents are encouraged to bring their ideas and their neighbors to speak with the supervisor, ask questions, and work together to solve problems in the community.

The meetings will be held at 6 p.m. at the following locations:

1.   Monday, February 11th at the Riverhead Senior Center (60 Shade Tree Lane, Aquebogue).

2.   Tuesday, February 12th at the Wading River Congregational Church (2057 North Country Road, Wading River).

3.   Wednesday, February 13th at the Riverhead Free Library (330 Court Street, Riverhead).
