• Several East End towns will hold their new year organizational meetings today. East Hampton will hold its organizational meeting at town hall at 10 a.m., followed by a work session at 10:30 a.m. Southampton will hold its organizational meeting at 1 p.m.

• Southold Town will hold a brief work session and an executive session beginning at 9 a.m., followed by its organizational meeting at 11 a.m. Southold will then hold its regular meeting at 4:30 p.m. The agendas for the meetings are online here.
