The Greenport Community Association will hold a zoning forum titled “How Will Greenport’s Zoning Code Shape Our Future” on Sunday, Nov. 24 at 2:30 p.m. at Greenport’s Floyd Memorial Library at 539 First Street.

Learn code specifics that affect new construction and renovations. Information is power. Find out the responsibilities of different review boards and how you can influence positive change.

Zoning impacts neighborhood character such as building height, historic preservation, access to the waterfront and open space, businesses, affordable housing, and parking. Other regulations protect waterfront development from sea level rise.

Bring questions, concerns and ideas for small group discussions after the presentations.
