Neo-Political Cowgirls to Haunt Amagansett Farmers Market
The Amagansett Food Institute and the performance art troupe The Neo-Political Cowgirls have teamed up for Halloween weekend to bring “Hysteria,” a beautiful, immersive terror, to the Amagansett Farmers Market.
Groups of ten audience members at a time will be taken on this guided journey to experience the causes, cures and curses of the psychological state of hysteria, and the most attentive audience members will receive a bonus room of fear if they pass their interrogation at the end of the journey.
Approximately 25 minutes in length, this immersive experience is not for the faint of heart.
The project will be born on Oct. 28 at sundown, and runs from darkness to 10 p.m. through Oct. 30. The Amagansett Farmers Market is located at 367 Main Street, Amagansett, NY
The Amagansett Farmers Market will be serving hot cider, donuts and additional sweet treats for purchase inside of the Market during the event each night. The Amagansett Wine Stand will be open extended hours, noon to 10 p.m. nightly, for purchases throughout the weekend’s event.
This experience is for ages 13+. All tickets are $20 at the door. All proceeds will go to the Amagansett Food Institute and The Neo-Political Cowgirls’ educational initiatives. Participants enter at their own risk.
