Nancy Goroff Wins Democratic Congressional Primary

Nancy Goroff has won the Democratic nomination and will face Republican incumbent Lee Zeldin in the November general election for the East End's First Congressional District. Ms. Goroff, who left her seat as chemistry chair at Stony Brook University to run for office, announced Thursday morning that she had won the primary by a margin of 630 votes with 17,905 votes, compared to 17,275 for real estate financier Perry Gershon
