Good Morning!

• We’re expecting wind, intermittent rain and cloudy skies today, with a high temperature near 56 degrees, with a south wind 15 to 23 miles per hour, gusting as high as 44 mph. We’re expecting showers overnight, with a gusty southwest rain and heavy rain possible, with a low around 29 and wind chills between 15 and 25. Thursday will be mostly sunny, with a high near 37, and Friday will be sunny, with a high near 43.

• Several Long Island oyster farms have received grant funding from The Nature Conservancy and the Pew Charitable Trust’s Shellfish Growers Resiliency Fund,  which is designed to develop a more resilient and sustainable U.S. shellfish industry that benefits the ocean and coastal communities.
