Good Morning!

• Today will be sunny, with a high temperature near 71 degrees and a calm wind, becoming south 5 to 9 miles per hour in the afternoon. It will be mostly clear overnight, with a low around 52. Tuesday will be mostly sunny, with a high near 72 and Wednesday will be sunny, with a high near 77.

• Leaders at Sag Harbor’s Bay Street Theatre took to the stage in their rented home of 30 years on May 1 to discuss their plans to build a new theater at the gateway to the village. Read our full story.

Suffolk County reported 95 new cases of Covid-19 on Saturday, May 15, with .9 percent of people tested testing positive. There were 127 people hospitalized with the virus in the county, with 28 of them in ICU. The county reported two new fatalities, bringing the death toll here from the virus to 3,381 people.

• The Mattituck-Laurel Civic Association holds a Clean Water Septic Technology webinar this evening at 6:30 p.m. for more information about clean-water septic systems designed to reduce nitrogen pollution in Long Island’s rivers, beaches, and bays. Here are more details.
